Mt. Borah partners with Madshus and Toko for elite race team

Coon Valley, WI.  Mt. Borah is excited to announce its alliance with Madshus and Toko as they launch the Madshus / Mt. Borah race team.  The three companies will combine their specialties to support an elite group of athlete-ambassadors for the upcoming season.

The roster includes an impressive list of accomplished racers that will be spread throughout the US.

John Dyste, Mt. Borah’s Winter Sports Sales Manager was the lead for the team's inception and recently remarked, “I am extremely excited to be collaborating with Peter Hale of Madshus (US Race Manager), and Ian Harvey of Toko (US Brand Manager), on this new project.  From the first conversation it was obvious that our companies had the same vision for this new concept team.  Foremost our focus has been on finding great people who are highly respected within their communities, and just so happen ski fast as well,” added Dyste.

The athletes will compete in a variety of events concentrated in their local region, but also prominent events such as the American Birkebeiner.  Beyond racing, the athletes will function as field representatives of the gear and apparel they’ve been provided.  "This is a perfect team of ambassadors for our sport, and for our companies," said Peter Hale, US Race Manager for Madshus.  "These athletes love to ski, and they love to race.  They are also delighted to bring newcomers into the sport, and are highly engaged in building up their local clubs and trail systems,” added Hale.
