Doc Can Still Rock Coming
Saturday, November 2 


The Doc will celebrate his 60th Birthday by rockin' the shop with The Front Band on Saturday, November 2 from 8-11 pm.  There will be a nominal $5 cover charge so the band gets something out of it besides the fun of playing with the Doc.  Draft Hoffbrauhaus Oktoberfest along with the Doc's famous brats will be available for purchase.  No presents for the Doc please unless you can figure how to knock an hour off his Birkie time.


The Doc Feels a Bit Chubby 

After the annual inventory last week, the Doc feels a little overweight.  So, he's biting the bullet and starting a lo-cal sale on bikes and skis.

The latest XC clothing designs from Bjorn are up on the walls of the Nordic Ski Shop.  Check out the quality and style. The Doc wants you looking good on snow this winter and dressing in Dahle is the way to do it.

Lapham Snow Making Nearing
Goal for New Pump.
Fright Hike this Weekend..

The efforts and contributions of many have brought the $60,000 goal needed for a variable pump within sight.  The pump will be a huge step towards the capability to move water to higher elevations allowing more challenging trail loops to be added to the existing system.  The entire snow making effort is funded by donations.  To contribute CLICK HERE.

Also, for some Halloween fun check out the annual Lapham Peak Fright Hike Friday the 26th and Saturday the 27 from 5:30-9 pm.  Part of the proceeds go to snow making.

Wisconsin Bike Summit & Saris Gala Friday, October 25

This Friday you can learn how to make a difference for bicycling in Wisconsin at the Wisconsin Bike Federation's annual Summit in Madison and follow it up with an evening of silent and live auctions, fun, food and beverage with Tour de France commentator Phil Liggett in the evening at the Saris Gala.

          Ski Swap Drop Off Wednesday, October 30

Start digging through the garage and bring your unused XC skis, roller skis, boots, poles and other gear to the shop on Wednesday, October 30 to turn them into cash while benefiting the Peak Nordic youth ski team

Cafe Hollander Halloween Costume Crawl Saturday

The Halloween ghosts and goblins may come out at night, but if they ride a bike they will be out in the day on Saturday, October 26 at the annual  Costume Crawl.  Bicycle Doctor is among the sponsors of this event featuring much fun, prizes and thumbs up horn honking from motorists.
