Borah Teamwear donates $13,750 to CAMBA

The numbers are in! The 2014 Mt. Borah Epic has brought more than $13,000 in race profits to benefit CAMBA, otherwise known as the Chequemagon Area Mountain Bike Association.

Focused to pay “tribute to the trails,” the point-to-point mountain bike race hosted nearly 500 racers from around the Midwest and beyond this past May, making the 2nd annual event a huge success, not only for racers, but also for CAMBA.

“In only two years, the Mt. Borah Epic has grown into a premier regional event and helped provide a substantial portion of our annual trail development and maintenance budget,” said Ron Bergin, Executive Director of CAMBA. “To be able to anticipate this level of funding annually provides additional security so we can continue our mission to develop, enhance, and maintain our extensive trail system with confidence,” added Bergin.

Already in the works for 2015, the Epic staff has been reviewing some of CAMBA’s new trail sections (by riding of course), many of which may be incorporated in the 2015 racecourse. Beyond the course, plans to address key improvements from racer and volunteer surveys are already in tow, ensuring the event will be one you and your family will put on the calendar every year!
