New Moon Ski & Bike Winter Events Calendar Now Available

New Moon Ski & Bike Shop is again offering a variety of special events this winter season including the big Holiday Ski & Fat Bike Demo at Hwy OO Birkie Cabin. We are partnering with Riverbrook Bike & Ski for this fun, annual holiday tradition. Test the best in the Nordic ski industry on the famous Birkie Trail or cruise on snowy CAMBA singletrack aboard remarkable fat bikes from Specialized, Salsa and Borealis. 

After a very succesful clinic last year, New Moon staff will be heading north again to assist with Ashland Parks and Rec Women's XC Ski Clinic in January. Participants made significant gains in their technique and confidence in last year's session.  A modest registration fee covers all meals and instruction.

In January and Febuary, skiers can attend New Moon's popular race wax clinics for the Sisu Ski Fest, Seeley Classic, and Pre-Birkie with expert waxing instruction from Fast Wax and Toko wax techs. These sessions are a great opportunity to streamline and simplify your waxing plans for the race season.

For a fun and low-key night on skis, join the New Moon crew at the Birkie OO Cabin for our weekly, Tuesday Night Under The Lights ski & potluck. Skiers and snowshoers split up into various groups and head out on the lighted Birkie loops to return for a yummy, post-ski potluck dinner at the warming cabin. All abilities welcome and loaner equipment may be available to new skiers for the evening at no cost.
