Thursday, April 16 - 6:30pm - Divas Climbing 101
Women, take yourself to new heights and learn the ropes through hands-on experience in our Climbing Cave.  Wear comfortable clothing and get ready to soar!  All equipment provided.  Instructed by Carolyn Hansen.  Sign up early because these classes are popular! Required:  All climbers must have a completed liability waiver on file at Midwest Mountaineering.  Liability waivers expire at the end of the calendar year and must be re-submitted every year. Thursday, April 16 - 7:00pm Superior Hiking Trail
The Superior Hiking Trail is one of the top long trails in the United States.  This coming National Trails Day on June 6th, the length of the trail will grow to 302 miles with the addition of a new section of trail. In this presentation you'll learn about the different sections of the trail, transportation options, and locations of post offices and grocery stores along the trail. Monday, April 20 - 6:30pm - Climbing 102
A Climbing 101 clinic is a prerequisite for this clinic.  Carolyn Hansen will provide this opportunity to expand your technical skills and help prepare you for more advanced climbing.  We'll review knots, commands, and belaying, along with more in-depth explanations and uses of climbing gear.  Don't worry; we will still have time to climb! Thursday, April 23 - 3:00pm - 7:00pm Expo Try Before You Buy Paddlesports Demo
The first Boat Demo of the season is at Lake Nokomis.  Factory reps will be on hand with trailers full of canoes and kayaks - all for you to try.  In addition to the demo we will have limited classes and demos available for both canoeists and kayakers.  No children under 13 or dogs in boats. This is one of the largest Boat Demos in the Upper Midwest and it's certainly one of the earliest.  Dress appropriately for the weather.Canoes, Kayaks, Paddles, Stand Up Paddleboards   Please join us – it'll  be lots of fun! Friday, April 24 - 2:00pm -  9:00pm - Beer! and Gear!  Social Night and Raffle
Beer!  –  $6 gets you a limited edition Expo pint beer glass + one pint of beer!  Refills $4.  FREE raffle ticket, too.
Gear!  –  There will be plenty of manufacturer's reps, exhibitors and employees to talk about gear and adventure opportunities.  Preview all of the gear being donated by exhibitors and manufacturers.
Social Night  –  We will have a tent with raffle prizes on display.  Enjoy the camaraderie of like-minded outdoor friends, exhibitors and Midwest Mountaineering staff.

Raffle and Exhibitors  –  Get a list of participating exhibitors at the Expo entrances.  All are donating raffle prizes.  Visit them and learn an interesting fact to receive a raffle ticket from them.  Visit lots of exhibitors for lots of tickets.  Prize award drawings at 8:30p.m. (you must be present to win).
