Imagine for a moment: You are traveling this winter in your vehicle, it's blizzard conditions out, and your car breaks down, enters the ditch, etc.  There is no cell phone service due to the weather and the nearest town/ service area is 10 miles away.  How do you survive the night? Or you have planned this glorious winter camping trip for the weekend.  The Weather looks pretty good and the forecast isn't calling for any snow, aside from a possible minor dusting on Saturday night and temperatures look pretty mild.  You, being the ever-prepared outdoorsy type, are still planning for it being cold, and you know that if things get wet, even 30 degrees feels like -10.  So, what do you bring?  What techniques do you need if the "dusting" turns south and becomes a blizzard?  What if you end up having to stay out longer than originally planned due to the weather? Come to Midwest Mountaineering and learn from Steve Schreader, our expert Extreme Survivalist, as he hosts a series of clinics dedicated to providing techniques focused on ensuring your survival this winter, should you need it.
