Nordic Coaches Wanted

The Bloomington Nordic Ski Team has a boys and girls assistant coaching position open for the 2014-2015 season. Dryland training starts Nov. 10th and will be conducted at Jefferson High School or Hyland downhill ski area. On snow practices occur mainly at Hyland Park Reserve. Practices run from 3:45 – 5:15 every weekday and on occasional Saturday mornings. Our team size ranges from 30 – 40 enthusiastic skiers. Qualified candidates should be available 4 - 5 days a week for after school practices and attending ski meets until the season ends in mid-February. Applicants with some ski experience in both classic and skate technique, willing to wax ski’s and helping to manage a diverse group are encouraged to apply.
