Specific Responsibilities Include:

• Recruitment of volunteers.
• Manage documentation of volunteers and hours (paper and electronic) keep up to date.
• Plan, develop, and implement appropriate recognition, retention, and motivation programs for volunteers.
• Assist with organizing regular volunteer training and orientations.
• Supervision of volunteers at key events:
• Surly Trail Loppet (September 22nd,2018)
• Urban Portage (October 6th, 2018)
• Trail Work Day (October 27th, 2018)
• Loopet Loppet (October 20th, 2018)
• Assist with special projects such as event planning.
• Document hours spent interning.
• Additional duties may be assigned.

• Ability to work with indirect supervision in busy environments
• Organized
• Excellent people skills
• Motivated
• Flexible

Benefits:

• Letter of recommendation can be provided after successful internship.
• $1000 stipend can be provided after successful internship
