Who's up for a matinee movie this weekend at the Icon Theaters in the West End???  This Saturday, October 20th at 3:45, I'm proud to say I'm sponsoring a local film festival which is bringing the documentary titled, READY TO FLY here to the Twin Cities! 

It's a highly acclaimed film about the journey women ski jumpers faced as they struggled to be recognized as an Olympic sport.  This film is currently being featured in notable film festivals across the United States earning awards as prestigious as "Best Film of the Fest!"  Features Female World Champion - American Ski Jumper - Lindsey Van.  Close to home story as a ski jumper and truly a top-notch production.

World Class ski jumping lives RIGHT HERE in the twin cities!  Two thriving ski jumping clubs service the metro - The St. Paul Ski Club in Woodbury and the Minneapolis Ski Club in Bloomington!  The Minneapolis Ski Club will be hosting numerous notable events throughout this winter including an International SuperTour event on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 and the JUNIOR NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS the week of February 26-March 3rd, 2013.
