Website Upgrades: Race Connections

Over the last week, we've rolled out a number of subtle changes to the Racing Outlook and Racing Calendar.

Racing Outlook

As race updates have become an increasing important part of the site, we've weaved them into a much more dynamic role.   The Racing Outlook looks the same as the past, with two exceptions.  First, race entries are now linked to the race website (if one exists).   Second, there is quick access to the trail reports for the race venue.

Racing Calendar

The Racing Calendar has been given a set of upgrades to the individual listings.  You'll find the same quick link for trail reports as you see in the Racing Outlook, plus a direct link to the race updates just for that specific event, and finally, a tie-in to the race results for the event (added after the event is completed).

There is also a legend at the bottom of the Racing Calendar as quick reference for the icons (mouse hover works as well).
