John Hugus Invite Trail Conditions and Race Plans Update

We are set to go for the race this weekend at Greenwood Hills and the inaugural CXC Youth Cup race!  Last night, we got a little rain, but it did not impact the course and we have all the snow we need. Grooming will commence tomorrow after the snow cools down and bring the course back to life. We would expect that it will be open for ski practice by Friday for anyone that may want to check things out before Saturday.

Since we lost the snow around the in the areas off the primary course, we decided that it would be difficult to hold a classic race without an appropriate testing and warm-up area. So there will be one freestyle race that will be longer than originally planned. ½A0 The races will be run by age division with breaks between each division to allow for some warm-up for each group prior to their race. Races will begin at 10:00 AM and a final schedule and start lists will be published on Friday when we have a handle on the number of skiers per event.
