Winter Recreation Area Meeting - April 9th from 6-8pm Keller

Dear Winter Park Enthusiasts,

We were able to reserve the main banquet rooms at the Keller Clubhouse for our next steps meeting on Thursday, April 9th from 6:00-8:00pm (date was updated from original plan due to scheduling conflict).

We plan on gathering as a group and then splitting into four working groups - Champions/Stakeholders, Funding, Lobbying, and Operations - to develop action plans based upon the comments made and any new information we’ve received. We will re-gather the group and review each action plan for additional comments. I have attached the Funding and Operations breakout summaries as well as the previous summaries from our Lobbying and Project Champions breakouts for you to review.

We plan on forming a steering committee during our meeting to oversee the ongoing effort as well. The steering committee could consist of elected officials who have expressed interest in serving on this committee, Chris Sachs from Endurance United, Mark McCabe from our staff, and a member or two from each sub-group. Each sub-group and the steering committee will direct efforts from there.
