Windy Ridge will open Saturday Dec 16th

Saturday Dec. 16th there will be a group meeting at ABR at 9:30 to ski the new Ridge Runner. The trail has had major redesigning this summer and as a result it is 1km longer at 7.3 km. If you liked Ridge Runner's long climbs, thrilling descents and panoramic views you can expect more of the same.

The group will be led by Ken Hazel, owner and designer of Windy Ridge. He will take the most direct way to the trailhead at a very leisurely pace keeping everyone together. Ken will then open the trail and take everyone on the tour. Here is your chance to pick up some tips on how to navigate some of the technical parts of the course from the person who designed them. The group will be skating.
