Did the Snelling lake shared use loop. Full coverage but thin. come for the scenery, swans at sunset. No track set but a good easy ski on a flat course.

Early morning only skier-set tracks were evident with many walker prints as well. This applies to Pike Island trails and the trail from the park uphill to East 54th Street. By the time I departed around noon park crew was packing the trails; however, there didn't appear to be enough to set tracks.

Skied Pike Island. Rolled and tracked for classical. A little tree debris here and there, but good enough for your good skis. Beautiful morning!

Snow is excellent; soft and fast. The track is not groomed, and walkers frequently damage any skier-cut tracks. The trail from the parking area at 54th street is out of the wind and has 4-5" of snow. Pike island trail is good; also not groomed, however many skiers have made a good track. Walkers generally stay off the tracks here.
