Notes:   Some of the best trails in southern Minnesota. Tucked in the valley behind the school, the trails run around the northern slopes of the valley making them quite challenging and also well protected from the sun. Some lighted sections, and snowmaking operations.

Nothing is groomed, but all trails have 3-4". Good conditions for mid April... enjoy it while it lasts!

Fresh grooming, conditions are very good for skating, classic tracks are 90 percent good. With the temperatures rising after today the icy spots will start showing up. But good skiing should go through Saturday morning.

Yesterday's wet snow dried out nicely overnight, firm but not icy. Main loop and river trail groomed again today; very good classic track and excellent skate lane. Untouched powder still available on the upper trails for anyone so inclined. Many thanks to groomer Steve for giving us these bonus days, after we all thought the season was finished.

Groomed a portion of the 5K loop and set a track, then rolled the rest of the 5K and the River trail. Very soft and wet, but with freezing temps hopefully the trail will set up. Mornings will be best. Plenty of snow right now.

Very few trails are in skiable condition. Large segments of ice, some bare ground on all trails. Grooming has stopped as of March 1. Ski with great caution but it is not recommended.
