Conditions: Good skiing; marginally better than yesterday.
Trail remains soft over most of what I skied today. I can't be certain but it looks like they made another pass with the Pisten Bully. Colder temperatures apparently have prevented set of the base. Beautiful day out there though!

Conditions: Deep but a little soft.
Went out late this afternoon and classic skied until dark. Lots of fresh snow at Andes with about 16" in the past week and a hard base underneath. Both skate and classic trail are a little soft yet, more so the classic. The skate base was setting up pretty firm by the time I left. Only real issue today was that they again set the classic tracks out on the edge of the packed base, thus your outside pole goes pretty deep quite often. One other thing, snow is not only deep on the ground, it's thick upon the branches and boughs of most every tree. Result is a beautiful winter wonderland. Check it out.

  Conditions: Variable, but good skiing.
Recently groomed via Pisten Bully, but still many stretches are hollow underneath. My biggest problem was with my poles punching through rather than my skis. Firmer in other sections that skied nicely. Perhaps needless to say there's an ample base and coverage is excellent. Colder temperatures today made for slower speeds.

Conditions: Firm - very good skating.
I did a short ski (suffering a cold and sore throat) today and the trails were in very good shape. I found them not super fast but nice. Classical tracks looked very good too. Apparently grooming was done yesterday. Winds were blowing snow on both the drive up and back (roads were bad) but this didn't seem to have affected the trails so far.

Conditions: 1+ inch of new light powder over firm base; very good conditions.
Trails were groomed again post yesterday's report and we've had a bit more snow. Conditions were quite good, not super fast but ok. With snow still flurrying, +10F, and virtually no wind I wished I could have skied longer but unfortunately I had to go to the office and prepare for this week's classes.
