Notes

The longest trail in the state, if not the country. (Submitted by Matt Aro) Pros: The trail is not technically challenging by any means. The first 6 miles heading south from Duluth is a gradual uphill. So coming back to Duluth can be very fast. Cons: The trail is shared with snowmobiles in the winter so some spots have rough sections from the studded tracks. On nice days, there are also many bikers, runners, and rollerbladers. The best time to get out is after work or in the morning (too busy on the weekends).
