Incredible snow conditions and forecast for this year's Finlandia. All 25k of our course was groomed out with multiple passes this weekend, and I can't recall ever having such easy grooming conditions and luck with the weather. We have a great skating deck, have fun going out to ski the east and west side trails with daylight till almost 6pm this week. Classic track cutting and final trail preparation later this week.

Did some skiing at BV in advance of the Finlandia set for Saturday. Very nice conditions but I caught the course during some grooming so didn't have a track. Seems to be more snow than there has been for quite a number of years.

The east side of BV is in great condition for the Minnesota Finlandia in a few weeks. Hard deck and classic tracks with a dusting of fluff on top. The west side is uneven after a high school race and hard freeze but is still in good condition.

West Side was groomed this week. Base is thin in spots and the recent high winds have added some new debris. Could use good skis with caution. No classic tracks yet.
