Observation
[ Trails Open: All ]
Mukwonago Trails are open! The trail has not been groomed due to the warm temperatures. The snow is soft, but skiers are reporting decent skiing. There is debris (sticks and leaves) on the trails. The classic tracks are in good condition, but soft. With the warm temperatures predicted for the weekend, the conditions will most likely be very soft snow and possibly icy in the early mornings if temps get down that low. The trail will not be groomed again until more snow and cooler temperatures are received. Use caution in the parking lot, as it is slippery and icy in places. There is a five dollar parking fee, but Monday, February 20, 2017, is a free fee day for President's Day.

Grooming

Mukwonago received 3-4 inches of new snow yesterday, and all of the loops were combed and tracked today. The skating deck is smoothed flat and the classic tracks set up nicely. The skiing is excellent!

Skied the outer loop. A bit soft in places, but that should firm up with the colder weather. All in all - good skiing.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Received 5 inches of new snow earlier in the week, so all loops groomed and tracks set and in very good condition. The cold temps set up the skate lane and classic tracks very well. There is no debris in the trail. Skiing should be excellent this weekend.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
We finally received the snow that we had been hoping for! The trail is set for skate and classic styles and all the loops are ready! You can probably expect some drifting into the trail with the amount of wind that we have had. Other than that you can expect to find the trail in very good shape. If you are looking to beat the crowds this weekend come check out this gem of a trail.

Groomed all loops, but no tracks set. We need more snow! Expect to see a lot of debris (sticks and pine needles) on the trail. Conditions are fair.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
All loops were groomed. Track was set on the 2 Km, 4 Km, and 7 Km loops. The 13 Km does not have tracks set, but is groomed. More snow is needed to set track on the 13 Km loop. Snow base is thin in places (2 inches), so expect to see debris (sticks, leaves, and pine needles) on the trail.
