Grooming Scheduling
[ Bare ground ]
It was decided to put away the grooming equipment for the season. Hope all enjoyed the season.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ B skis ]
Zillmer was ungroomed but passable this afternoon. The area received about 4-5 inches of snow overnight and into the day. I am uncertain of grooming plans as the grooming equipment wasn't in its normal location. It was slow going (skating) and there were a few sticky spots, but I managed to stay upright. There were also skied in classic tracks.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Good skis ]
Conditions: Red Loop classic track in good condition at 5pm Thursday.
The track was mostly in good condition. The wind is blowing debris onto the track but only bothered me in a couple short stretches at that time. Some of the uphill slopes were icy and used the skate deck. It was pretty fast. Friday morning may be the last chance. Thanks to the groomers and to all that submitted helpful reports.

Morning
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Good skis ]
Zillmer is in very good condition for skating. The recent snow has been groomed in and has created a firm and level skate deck. Warm temperatures are on their way. Please stay off the trails if they get too soft. Enjoy while it lasts!

[ Good skis ]
Conditions: Fantastic! The groomer was just finishing up with his passes on the skate deck as I headed out this morning. Coverage was very good with only a few spots were ice was covered by a thin veneer of snow. I skate skied all trails and it was some of the best skiing of the winter!
Thank you groomer!

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Good skis ]
Conditions: Excellent snow - very fast.
Skied the classic Yellow trail around 2 pm Wednesday and conditions were the best they've been in a long time. Clear tracks, no debris, fast tracks. Icy only at the very end and very beginning. Gorgeous conditions.

Morning
Firsthand: Freestyle Secondhand
[ Good skis ]
Zillmer received about an inch of light fluffy snow yesterday afternoon and evening. It wasn't groomed early this morning but other reports have indicated it was groomed later in the morning. Even without it being groomed, the skate lane was in very good condition (Yellow/Red/Green). Classic tracks looked good as well.

Grooming
[ Good skis ]
Received maybe an inch of fluffy snow yesterday afternoon. I groomed the skating lanes on all loops this morning. Skating lanes are in very good condition. I did not do anything with the classic tracks, better off not trying to reset track with current conditions. The tracks are in very good condition, a few spots where the tracks have broken down.

Morning
Firsthand: Classic
[ Good skis ]
Conditions: Classic skiing was good to vey good with skied-in powder on firm yet thinning tracks with almost no debris. Recently groomed skate deck appeared to be in very good condition.
Skied classic track on full Gold and Green loops Tuesday morning with A skis. Good kick in tracks.

We were the first skaters on the just honeycombed groomed yellow trail. The 3 inches of snow the last two days made wonderful skiing and control with no hint of being icy. The downhills were much easier without the icy conditions. Best skiing in the past 3 weeks.
