Firsthand
[ Trails Open: Partial, B skis ]
I skied freestyle on the north side of the Brown's Creek trails today and found them to be quite decent. I skied the north loop and then started the loop south of the Brown's Creek Trail and found it rough, so I ended up staying on the north side. It was all decent, except the 180 turn on the far west end. In subsequent loops, I turned around at the top of that hill, going backwards on the inner loop for about 100 meters, before cutting through the bush to the right and finishing the loop. It is a 1.65k loop, with a couple icy stretches. The groomers had done a nice job of chopping up the ice and making it skiable. It's nice to have skiable trails close to home. Thanks, groomers.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Trails were groomed for skating on Sunday. Hope to set a track early this week. Conditions looked good, recommend B skis until the snow sets up.
