Conditions: Fair. Solid ice base with crust on top with some bare and icy spots.
6am 16F, skied Ferndell and two loops of Hastings. Not bad for first week in April. Mostly crust with 5% icy spots. Hastings had three open spots and about the same for Ferndell. Still very skiable for us hard core skiers.

Conditions: Fair to good. Full cover, still with about 5% icy spots but could still get an edge.
Skied Ferndell and Turtleville (6am, 30F) which were fair and could use a good grooming-has not been groomed for a week. I tried the Northwest Trail which was the best with plenty of snow cover, say about an inch or so on solid base. Plenty of snow on this trail, little ice since this trail appears to get the least use. Sure wish they would groom it up for at least an April ski.

Conditions: Fern Dell was great! The track was icy in some spots but the rest of the trail had perfect skiing conditions, considering it's late March.
A very enjoyable morning. Probably my last ski of the year but it was a good one to end on. The park staff has done an excellent job of keeping the trails so well kept...I don't think they hear that enough. It's great that we can still get out this late in the season. Thanks Mirror Lake!

Conditions: Perfect snow conditions but needs grooming.
The 3" of fresh snow is great skiing, but for some reason they have only groomed Fern Dell and Turtleville, and those both need to be groomed again. Fern Dell has new striding tracks laid.

Conditions: Good but slow due to cold temps. solid deck with full cover yet-no icy patches, partially groomed.
My coldest ski of the year -1F at 6am on the first day of spring- go figure. Skied Ferndell, Turtleville and Hastings, they were groomed after the 3" snow but wind added leaves and more snow to trails. I tried Pioneer and Ishnala but a slow go since they were not groomed after the snowfall. Still great for mid-March.
