Conditions: Packed powder on top of ice.
The whole system has been groomed and a classic track set. It is some of the best classic skiing of the year. Fast Wax red glide and Toko purple kick worked very well. Skating is not as good as the snow needs to firm up more to prevent kicking the snow off the ice base.

Grooming plans: The trails are in the process of getting packed, and if all goes well, we hope to have a track set on the south trails by the end of the day (Friday). The whole trail system will hopefully be track set by the end of the day tomorrow (Saturday). Happy skiing!

Conditions: 3 inches of powder on top of ice with some grooming.
The snow has now bonded to the ice but it would be a good idea to make sure that the tips of your poles are sharp so they will grab in the ice base. The trails have been partially groomed with very good skiing on the groomed portions. The covered bridge is not skiable as the cover kept the snow off the bridge.

Conditions: Not enough snow to ski and too much ice to run.
We are back to “Waiting for the Snow”.

Conditions: Skating 98% wonderful 2% rocks and asphalt, classic mostly good.
The trails have been packed full width with a classic track set where there is enough snow. There are thin spots throughout the system due to the high winds that came with the snow. Just don’t use a good pair of racing skis and enjoy the snow.
