Conditions: Extremely icy and thin.
Ranger told me trails were groomed off of lot# 5 only. She didn't recommend skiing today. Planned on skiing the orange/red trails. Ended up just skiing the yellow. Not much base, maybe 4 inches, tracks were very thin and icy with a lot of debris. When you fall, it's like falling on concrete. Ranger was right.

Conditions: Good to excellent.
Went out Sunday morning on the trail off of Lot 5. Tracks for striding were excellent. I have never skied in 40 degree weather before! Snow was softening as we finished around 11 am.

Conditions: Good to very good. Recently groomed.
Classic skied yellow, orange and blue trails this afternoon. Still a little soft and outside pole plants not firm. But the new snow made for great skiing and scenery. Not much debris. No problem using good skis. Skate trails looked pretty soft yet.

The more remote parts of the blue trail were great where there has been little traffic, but the areas closer to lot 5 saw a lot of usage today and were in fair condition. The most important thing to note is that there is significant water/ice on some the trails. You cannot complete the entire blue loop and other loops because of it. Even so, the park is beautiful and worth some detours.

Conditions: Yellow groomed and pretty good. Orange and red not groomed and not good.
Plenty of snow so not sure why all trails weren't groomed.

Conditions: Not groomed, but classic tracked by skiers.
Plenty of snow! At least 10 inches. With cool forecast, the snow should stay. The woods were beautiful. Glad to be out.
