Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, Rock skis ]
I skated the 7.5km loop late afternoon and the snow was really slow. Looked like the trail hadn't been groomed in a few days. I saw more dog tracks and footprints than ski tracks.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
The skate lane of the Seeley Hills Trails was groomed tonite, and in good condition. The classic track was left alone and will not be re-groomed until we receive more snow. The Seeley Hills Trails will remain open for skiing throughout the warm weather this weekend and will get re-groomed next week when the temps cool down again.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Classic skied on the inner loop with skin skis. There were only a couple of areas with some tree debris; however, it was easy to ski through it and all other sections were clean. Nice classic track and great kick and glide. Skin skis didn't pick up any of the debris. Skate deck looked pristine - flat, firm, corduroy with little debris.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
Skated on a nice wide, firm skate deck. Great grooming! Classic track was shallow but had good coverage. I used B skis as you could see a few dark spots where rocks were lurking below. Snow was hanging on the trees and absolutely beautiful. Thanks to the volunteer groomers.
