With the last base having melted, the new base isn't deep enough for grooming, and barely deep enough to skate on. I often would catch grass underneath, with it being so thin. I'm guessing this is the last skiing we'll see here for this season.

Conditions: Fair. 3 inches of fluff in most areas. Little debris but some higher grass pokes through.
There are no groomed trails currently but the fairways are skiable for those who want a nearby pre-birkie workout.

Conditions: Fair to poor. Many areas icy with a few bare spots.
There are some nice groomed stretches west of the creek. Try to avoid the north east portion of golf course where ash tree removal is taking place. Needs more snow.

Conditions: Mr. Freeze. No grooming for a few days. Stick skis.
It's still skiable. There are some bare spots, but skating down the fairway was fun. Very icy so be careful, but good chance to work on balance and staying upright.

Conditions: Mostly good. Had a great ski at sun up but a few areas are paper thin. I'd probably use rock skis if going out later today.
The milwaukee county parks crew have done a great job re-grooming the course to avoid some icy and bare areas.

No grooming since the Saturday afternoon snow. About an inch is covering a bullet proof crust on fairways. Pretty good skating.

Conditions: Very good! Park crew has re-groomed and re routed the trail around some icy areas.
Beautiful, fast and firm. Beware of the one nearly bare gully in the southwest corner of the park. Enjoy it while you can!

Conditions: Still very good skating conditions late afternoon.
Skate deck is in good shape early eve. Some hard, slick spots around windswept areas, but a world of difference from yesterday. Many thanks to the park crew.
