I spoke with Linn County Conservation staff today, and they informed me that there are problems with the grooming equipment at Matsell and Wanatee, and it's uncertain if/when these parks will be groomed.

The Linn County website says there are groomed trails at this park, but I have been out several times over the years and have never found them. Today I was essentially backcountry skiing, as no skiers had been out on the trails yet.
