Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: Most, Rock skis ]
Conditions are somewhere between rock skis and running shoes, haha! Trailhead is discouraging, but there are some "good" (i.e. mostly covered) spots, especially back by flyway, tempo, etc.

What a pleasant surprise to see the trails rolled and in such (relatively) nice condition! No track set. A little loose yet. Thin spots throughout, but mostly avoidable. You could use nicer skis, if you're careful. Get it while you can!

Morning
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: Most, Rock skis ]
I skied in the morning and it was good to be on natural snow for the first time! There are many spots where dirt is coming through the snow and also some debris from trees on the trail. I would definitely recommend rock skis as there will probably be damage. Further out, there was less dirt showing through. It's icier near the warming house, with more use there. I am not sure if all trails are groomed, I didn't do them all, but it seemed at least most were. Tracks were set for classic closer (maybe the lighted loop?) pretty shallow but at least present.

[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
Went with little hope of skiing, given the warm temps, but trails actually still in really good condition for not having much snow yet. A few easily avoidable thin spots on the busiest stretches.

Very happy how the trails are with the amount of snow groomers are working with! There are thin spots and some debris, but if you are diligent, I think all could be avoided. Some very minimal tracks in a couple of spots (longest I found was on Lillehammer). Skate skiers looked especially happy!

Groomed and pretty good (no tracks), a little thin, some grass and debris sticking through, especially on the hills, don't need to use rock skis but possibility of damage.
