Notes

Long downhills, gathering speed and sharp turns at the bottom are distinctive of the trails you will find here. 34k of groomed trails, 24k of skate trails, 7k lighted trails in the evening until 9pm. Trails are groomed daily to manage the 200"+ of annual snowfall. Heated chalets at the Main Trailhead and Nara Trailhead.

Firsthand: Freestyle 
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Fantastic conditions today. Some dirt churned up in one or two areas, otherwise good coverage. A bit of debris from the windy day(s), but not bad and easily avoidable. We'd never skied here before and really enjoyed it. Trails are wide and plentiful - kind of reminded me of the trails at Giant's Ridge. Since there are so many trails, sometimes it was a bit confusing. But I suppose if you ski here a lot, you know your way around. Wish we would have had enough energy to ski all of the lighted loops as well!

Surprisingly good skating today at Tech trails. Good solid glide and pretty flat across the 3-4 km they rolled. More snow tonight, so it's on in Houghton!
