Classic skied the Pine, Oak, Birches and Lit Loop trails in 37F degrees under a cloudy sky. Aside from the hill portion of the Pine trail (which was in poor shape), the tracks were good albeit slow given the temps and lack of an overnight freeze. A good day for a solid ski workout, some days are better than others. Carpe Skiem!

Classical gas! Another great day to ski Reforestation Camp! Pines, Oaks, Birches were much fun, the great grooming is still holding up. A few bare spots where you'd expect but very easy to ski around. Variable speed as some soft spots are forming.

Fresh grooming on the skating lanes with adjacent classical tracks. The classical tracks appeared very good. Occasional debris on the trail. The groomers did a very good job.

Classic tracks set this morning, what a joy! No leaves and excellent tracks. The most fun I've had skiing in a long time. Hope it is the same tomorrow morning. Cheers to the guys that groomed today!

Skated all of Birches and Maple (including Per's loop), including extra connectors, and was pleased with the speed of the surface throughout. In general it needed another groom, and while a careful skier could use good skis, there was quite a bit of nearly unavoidable debris in the further reaches. The main "highway" was wonderfully wide and easy to ski, and open portions were generally better, but portions of Per's and the northernmost stretches of Birches had branch pieces scattered at random times. From the looks of it, the tracks were deep and steady, but portions had lots of oak leaves therein. All told, a great ski -- I recommend hitting the trails! Big thanks to the county groomers for their fantastic work.

Continued excellent conditions at The RFC for both skate and classic. The classic tracks haven't been this good in years. You could certainly use your best gear today, but given some pesky wind debris in the tracks you may want to use your B skis. Really fun out there today, lots of happy faces taking advantage of the conditions. You will be glad you joined them should you come out. Carpe Skiem!
