Greenbush never disappoints. Red and brown trails are tracked and in great condition. Skate deck is firming up a bit. The rest are being worked on. Lots of snow to move and groom. Thank you to the amazing groomers!

Observation
We have been notified by the WDNR that the lower parking lot will not be plowed until Saturday morning at the earliest. We currently have 10-12 on the ground and accumulating at over an inch an hour. We will update when we have more to share.

Firsthand: Classic
[ B skis ]
Drove an hour and a half to ski after reading a report that classic trails would be set. Unfortunately there were no tracks to speak of, which was understandable after seeing the base and yellow spots from bottom melting. On a positive note, skaters seemed to be enjoying the conditions and the forest was absolutely beautiful.

Beautiful flocked trees at Greenbush today as I skied the green and red trails. Both trails had been groomed today. They were soft with a few ruts. There were a few sticks. It was great to be out.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
We received about 7-9 inches of moist heavy snow on Tuesday with high winds. Groomers were able to clear debris and double roll everything except the Black trail. Surfaces are soft but non-uniform. We received another 1-2 inches overnight. The high winds and heavy snow deposited a lot of sticks on trail. If everybody would pole flick a few off to the side, it would certainly be a huge benefit and greatly appreciated. Grooming plans: We are planning to smooth the skate deck and set track this morning.

Morning
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
Morning skied the brown trail three times. It had been rolled, so it was a bit spongy. About 6" snow. When I left at noon, a groomer was heading out. Thank you, groomers.

Morning
Firsthand: Classic
[ Rock skis ]
Groomers spent 4 hours on Sunday rolling 2-3 inches of wet snow to begin establishing a base. Lots of rocks, sticks and bare spots to navigate, but some pretty decent stretches in the usual spots. Skiing was good from shelter through the campground, backwards on Purple Trail to the bottom of the hill. I think with everyone doing their best snow dances, cooler temps and a couple more inches we can get things going at Greenbush.

Morning
Observation
We received about two inches of snow in Sunday's storm. I hiked the purple trail and it was all snow covered but very thin. One brave soul had skied it.
