We are having a FAST KIDS Skate session at Hyland Lake Park on the new man-made snow loop trails! Session will include some distance skate skiing in ability groups followed by some sprint relay and game events. Come check out the new 5km man made loop that has 6 impressive hill climbs! Ages 8-13 are welcome to come (skate ski experience and equipment is needed to participate).

There will be several FAST KIDS coaches at the event, but parents are welcome to come help ski with kids in groups.  Kids will need their own ski equipment and some prior experience to participate.

When:  Thursday, January 9th, 6:00 - 8:30 p.m. Meet inside the main Hyland Nordic chalet at 6:15 p.m.  (Originally scheduled for Jan 2nd)

Cost: Free!  Great way to try out what FAST KIDS is all about. If your child is not currently apart of the FAST KIDS Winter Session they will need a waiver signed the day of the event in order to participate.
