Loppet Nordic Racing Juniors Open House, March 3-4, Wirth Park

Loppet Nordic Racing will have two Open House Training sessions for junior athletes ages 13-18 on Monday and Tuesday, March 3 and March 4 at Theodore Wirth Park. This is a good chance to meet LNR Head Coach Piotr Bednarski and get a feel for some of the training that we do. You can meet other LNR coaches and athletes and ask questions about spring, summer and fall training. Email Coach Piotr with question at [email protected]. We encourage you to bring your high school or jr high teammates with you- we'll have skiing for a few more weeks, might as well come out and enjoy it!

-Monday: Classic Ski- Par 3, Meet in Lower Stadium, 3:30-5:15pm. we are practicing classic sprint starts, doing some L3 classic intervals, and then running the Ski X course. Course is new- lots of challenging corners and jumps.
-Tuesday: Skate- Slalom and Agility Course. 3;30pm-4:45pm. Meet at the Tubing Hill by the main chalet. Also, our new Ski X course will be ready to go- lots of jumps, banked corners. note, might want to bring "b" skis for the Ski X course!
