Mora Welcomes Swedish Juniors

Mustang Elite Juniors Nordic Training provided by Mora Community Education has been training high school athletes for cross-country skiing throughout June and July in Mora, Minnesota. About 30 members of the Mora High School Nordic Team are participating in the program. Last week 3 athletes and a coach from IFK Mora in Mora, Sweden joined the athletes from the US for a week of intensive training, sharing coaching and training strategy, and camaraderie including a trip to Valleyfair, a St. Cloud Rox Baseball game, ski training trips to Elm Creek and Duluth. We would like to thank Vasaloppet USA for use of their buildings, Mora Community Education for organizational assistance, and the City of Mora for maintenance of the bike trails and roadways we are lucky to use.
