Holmenkol is extremely proud and excited to be the official wax company for The City of Lakes Loppet coming up this Saturday January 31st. Having an event of this magnitude held within the City of Minneapolis makes this race unique and very special. Through Holmenkol's sponsorship of this event four Minneapolis high schools have received wax in return for their shoveling snow onto key connection areas along the race route. With the Minneapolis park board maintaining the race course throughout the season these shoveling efforts will be appreciated throughout the year by thousands of skiers.
