RUN, WALK, SKIP, TOUR, BUT DO COME TO HAYWARD


Hayward Area Ski Trail Association (HASTA) invites one and all to come to the MUSKY FESTIVAL WALK/RUN. It will be your choice of either a 5 kilometer or 10 kilometer race on Sunday, June 24, 2001, in downtown Hayward, Wisconsin. Registration will start about 7:45 am. Race start time is 9:00 am. The early bird fee is $12.00, with a $15.00 fee on race day.  For additional information call:

Only the first 200 people to register will be given a unique Run/Walk t-shirt. Top male and female finisher in the 5km and 10 km event will win an entry to the American Birkebeiner Cross County ski race!

Support for run is provided by Western Auto Home Center, Holden-Shuman Insurance Agency, Hidden Bay Graphics, Hayward Bakery & Cheese Shop, American Birkebeiner Ski Foundation, Coop's Pizza Parloure, North Woods Community Health Clinic, and Hayward Area Memorial Hospital. 

A free "Minnow Run" for the little ones will be held right after the big fish get done running through town!  The event is one part of the Musky Festival. So plan on taking in ALL the events, all weekend long. The MUSKY FESTIVAL WALK/RUN is a fundraiser for the ski club. We groom ski trails near Hayward.
