The Ski Swap sponsored by the Brainerd Nordic Ski Club is Saturday, November 4th, at the Brainerd Sr High School cafeteria. The school is eight blocks south of 210 on old 371, then one block west on Pine or Quince. Park in the lot on the north side of the school. Those who have items to sell may register them between 7:30 and 9:00 am. The doors open for sales at 9:00 am until 1:00 pm. 15% of the sale price will be paid to the BNSC by the merchandise seller (BNSC members pay 10%). All unsold items must be picked up between 1:00 and 2:00 pm. Unclaimed items will either be discarded, donated to area orgainzations, or become property of the BNSC. The swap includes all types of winter equipment, cross-country, downhill, figure/hockey/in-line skates, car top carriers, clothing, etc. Many area ski shops will have new and rental items for sale, as well. The buying is fast and furious and 'choice' items go quickly. See you there!

Maple Grove Ski Swap - Thurs. Nov 16

The Twin Cities Ski Swap, formerly held at Anoka H.S. will be at Maple Grove Junior High this year. The swap will run from 6:00 to 8:30. Anyone interested in selling cross country ski equipment may do so. The seller is responsible to stay with their equipment. We are asking a $1 contribution for each item sold (over $5)

Directions to Maple Grove Jr. High.
Take I-94 to I-694. Exit on Hemlock Lane/County Road 61 (East from St. Cloud past I-494,I-694 interchange, West from Downtown Mpls past US169). Go South on Hemlock/County Road 61 approximately 1/2 mile to 69th Ave. N.. Maple Grove Jr. is on the left side. Park in the east lot. (Address: 7000 Hemlock Lane)
