Minnesota Youth Ski League's 7th Annual Ski Swap (part 1)
Saturday, November 11th
9:00 am - Noon
at Jehovah Lutheran Church, St. Paul
1566 Thomas Ave
(4 blocks North of 94 on Snelling-corner of Thomas & Snelling)
“The Best Swap for Good Quality, Used Kids & Students Equipment!”
The Minnesota Youth Ski League is pleased to host this big event, open to the entire public. The sale is being held as a fundraiser for MYSL and provides skiers the opportunity to sell outgrown and little used equipment and clothing. We request that sellers limit merchandise to items that are directly related to cross country skiing. No downhill gear, please! 15% of the sale price, or a minimum of $1 per item, will be retained by MYSL.
The following merchandise is considered appropriate for this sale:
- cross country skis, hoots, bindings and poles
- ski-related clothing
- roller skis and roller blades
- car racks
- waxing irons and benches and other waxing paraphernalia
- Bicycle department! Bicycles in good, working condition welcome!
All merchandise must be in good, serviceable condition. We are especially looking to sell used children’s and students gear since there is a real need for affordable kids’ stuff,
- Seller:
Preferred check-in of your used equipment will be from 6-8 pm on Friday, November 10 with 8-9 am on Saturday, November 11 as an alternate for those who cannot check-in on Friday. You will receive a receipted tag for each item. At this time you will be charges a $1 service charge per item. We request that you price your merchandise reasonably. If you are unsure of how to price a particular item, someone will be available to advise you at check-in. Merchandise should be priced in whole dollar amounts only -- no cents! You may pick up your money and/or any unsold equipment from Noon to 1 pm on Saturday. Any money or merchandise not claimed by 1 pm on Saturday, November 11 will be considered a donation to the Minnesota Youth Ski League.
- Buyers:
The sale will be held from 9 am to 12 pm on Saturday, November 11. Volunteer staff members will be available to provide assistance. Displayed prices are considered non-negotiable and all sales are final. Please come prepared with small denomination bills and several checks. We are hoping to have a wide variety of quality used gear, including touring and racing skis and boots. You can expect to find some of the best bargains in town!

Again this year ... a 2nd Swap! on Sunday, November 12, MYSL will host another swap at French Regional Park in Plymouth if you’d like your unsold equipment to travel to that swap, see volunteers on Friday drop off Friday night.
