Highland 9 Hole classic and ski deck were groomed today. Both are in pristine condition. Have fun folks!

The trail has gotten a fair amount of use since the last grooming, but the overcast conditions and frosty mornings have provided just enough new crystalline "snow" to make snow and track conditions excellent overall. Downhills were fast in the bobsled-like tracks (cool)--I had my brakes on for a couple of them. I was able to ski while the sun was out (really cool), but I was glad to see the clouds return which will preserve the conditions. Skating deck looked firm, but also with just enough "give" to allow for good edging.

The Highland 9-hole cross country ski trail was freshly groomed this morning. A new classic track and skate deck were tilled. The recent snow set up great with the cold temps. Enjoy Loopers!

Nice firm skate deck with pretty good corduroy. Plenty of loose snow on top to get a good edge. Conditions are fast and temperatures are really nice. If you're reading this stop what you doing, come out to the Highland nine hole and get a ski in before it snows.

Surprisingly good! Full coverage. A little wet on top, but a solid base and well groomed. A little lopsided in places, but given the big melt a lot better than I would have thought. Classic tracks looked good. No bare spots.

Super fun time with the doggo this afternoon! Very warm, and the expected softening of the skate deck is happening. Saw a couple other skijor teams out.... My dog did great with onby today! Get out for an evening ski if you can!

Skated a quick lap for comparison after skating at the new course across the street. Skate deck firm and wide with nice skiff of loose snow on top helping edging. Corners are still good with little to no bare ice. Classic tracks looked in great shape.

The trail groomed up amazing and features corduroy so smooth, you'll want to wear it. Enjoy the trail!

I mean, I know I could lose a few pounds but the skate deck was too soft at 7pm 28F,. Surprising after this mornings grooming, one a couple days before that, and plenty of use. Turned into a no pole mostly V1 workout because poles punched through and V2 wasn't finding or holding much edge in the soft snow (didn't help that my skis are on the softer side too). Hoping for colder temps. Thank you groomer!
