All trails open but would not try the alps until its groomed/tilled. Most of the others were groomed and in good shape. The real star though was trail Y -- perfect would not be an over statement. We were done by 10:00 am things will get real soft later.

Grooming

10 k, 6k and lit trails were groomed this morning with track red set on 10k. It was a double pole kind of afternoon when it got above freezing. Grooming plans: Groomer will be back out Saturday morning.

Glad I stopped for a quick loop on the lighted trail! Trees were simply glistening in the sun with yesterday's ice. The classic tracks were well set, relatively fast and smooth considering the warmer temps, brightly glowing with the fallen pieces of ice. Excellent conditions!

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
Trails were regroomed and tracked overnight. The alps and little alps will remain closed due to the ice under the snow. Come shake the Birkie stiffness out of your legs.

About 3 inches of fresh snow since last groomed. It made for a winter wonder land, but very tough slog for skate skiers. I did most of the 10K loop. It looked like a half dozen skaters had tried it before me. Very soft. Very slow. Especially the back part. The classic tracks looked more used and I recommend classic skiing only until 9-mile gets their skate deck sorted out.

Wonderful skiing Friday)with trails groomed to perfection. Today not so much. Multiple inches of loose, un-groomed snow. Disappointed with grooming. This has happened here before on weekends with lots of skiers and no grooming.

Fresh apprx 2" of powder this morning on top of the 1 foot of new snow that had been groomed on Friday morning made for a wonderful ski experience. A bit slow, but find it worth the effort for the silence and solitude that just a couple of inches of fresh powder on-top of well groomed firm trails provide. Never seems to disappoint.

Not groomed after four inches of snow overnight! We waited through the rifle hunt time frame, then the ice storm and massive clean up by a lot of dedicated volunteers and county workers, then snow drought, then we get snow and see this? Very disappointing. The county webpage says groomed multiple times a week and after each snow event!
