ABR Season Closer

Here is the race report.... 8 minute 10 second headstart
for the woman. 40-45 degree start temps. 55 degree finish
temps. The first lap was fast the second was slow. Aubrey
Smith won the $1,000 CASH prize by 28 seconds, followed by
Matt Weier, Cory Wubbels, Chris Cook, Hillary Patzer, Bruce
Bauer, Lorie Wesolek, Tom Krenz, Tom Meyers, Joe Bettendorf.
The Sprint Relays and costume judging went well in slushy
conditions with temps in the 60's and sunshine. It was a true
spring SKI RACE.
The winning time was 1:13:42 by Aubrey Smith and second place
was 1:05:13 Matt Weier. We had 65 participants in 24 km race
and ten 3 person sprint relay teams.
Due to the race format, there were no official timed results
for the entire field.
