With the evening temperature dropping to 38F, the 5.3K light
loop at Elm Creek iced up and skis were wickedly fast. Chris
Sachs and Ben Kramer both broke the all-season record, with
Chris edging Ben, who is recovering from a bad cold, by about
4 seconds.
