Rainbow Time Trial

It was a beautiful day with no wind and mild temperature of 14F. The trails for the 10K skate and 15K classic were well groomed. Five skiers from Twin Cities and Duluth showed up for the time trial for 10K state and 15 classic. The race director, Ray Thorkildson, lined up more helpers and volunteers than the skiers. Everyone including the spectators were all excited, so some of the volunteers jumped in and raced too.

FYI: We also got a dump of new 3" inches snow! The sun is out and temp is in its teens on Sunday. Skiers reported that the skiing condition is great on Sunday.
