Skinnyski.com Racing Team
The Skinnyski.com Race Team is composed of top Midwest skiers
with the goal to be competitive both as individuals as well
as a team, while still remaining integrated with the entire
skiing community. Team members are heavily involved in setting
the direction, composition, and concept of the organization.

Ben Popp is the manager of the Skinnyski.com Racing Team.
Popp also runs his own business, FIT
Systems, which specializes in focused, individualized
training systems. He combines a very successful athletic career
with an extremely positive attitude and excellent management
skills, making the perfect choice to lead the team this winter.

Abbi May is a physical therapist taking a break
from work to be a stay at home mom to Rachel, age 4,
and their new son, Trond.

Ben Popp is earning his Masters in Education and

Josie Nelson is a physical therapist at Novacare
Rehabilitation in Minnetonka and Methodist Hospital

Nelson -- Duluth, MN
Grant Nelson is a recent U of MN graduate and practices
as a general dentist in the Duluth Medical Arts Building.
Grant recently relocated up to Duluth in search of the
ideal cross country skiing home base and he thinks he
found it.

This last summer Grant completed his first true triahlon,

thoroughly enjoying most all outdoor sports, cross country
skiing, specifically classic skiing, is by far his favorite

Siiri Morse -- Duluth, MN
Siiri Carver-Morse has been active in racing and
coaching for a number of years now. Most recently, Siiri
was head coach at St. Olaf College and this winter will
assist with the Duluth Marshall team.

Maria Stewart is a recent graduate of Northern Michigan
University, and is now attending graduate school at
the University of Minnesota. She competed on the NMU
Ski Team while earning her degree.

Jay Richards is one of the owners/operators and
head groomer at Maplelag
Resort.

Jay is an elite level Mountain Bike racer, taking 2nd
overall in the expert class of the 2002 MNSCS series,
as well as 11th at the 2002 Chequamegon Fat Tire Festival.
Jay was named MSHSNCA Volunteer of the Year in 2003. |

Troutner -- Maple Grove, MN
Jill Troutner is an elite level U.S. biathlete, now
taking some time off from biathlon to enjoy more local
racing. When not training, Jill works part-time at Minnesota
Acceleration.
