Snowflake Ski Nordic Ski Swap

The Thirteenth annual Snowflake Ski Nordic Ski Swap will be held Saturday, October 9, from 9:30 am until 3:30 pm. This is Northern Minnesota's largest nordic ski swap. It is an excellent place to buy and sell new and used nordic items.

If you have gear to sell, you can check it in on Thursday or Friday, October 7 and 8 from 5 pm until 8 pm. The commission on sale items is 15%. This amount is used to support local high school ski teams.

The swap is also an excellent time and place to purchase your season pass for Snowflake at the preseason rate. In stark contrast to every other item or service out there, George has once again decided to not raise the price of a season pass.

Three Rivers Fall Cross-Country Ski Sale

The Three Rivers Park District Fall Cross-Country Ski Sale is from 9 a.m.-noon, Saturday, Oct. 30, at Cleary Lake Regional Park in Prior Lake. Used traditional ski packages and individual equipment are available in adult and children’s sizes. Skis are waxless and in good condition.

Brainerd Nordic Ski Club Ski Swap

BNSC Ski Swap will be held in the Brainerd High School cafeteria on Saturday, November 6.

Registration of items will be Saturday morning from 7:30-9:00. Sale doors will open at 9:00 and the ski swap will run until 12:00. Between 12:00-1:00, people return to either collect money from sold items and/or pick up unsold items. BNSC will collect 15% of the merchandise sales from all non-club members. However, any current member (or those that join at the SWAP) will pay only 10%.

The annual Wausau Nordic Ski Swap in Wausau, WI. is set for Nov. 13 & 14 at Wausau West High School 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM each day. Drop off equipment to sell on Sat. the 13th and the sale of equipment on Sun. the 14th. Sun after 3pm pick up a check or your unsold items. 15% sales commission -- proceeds toward youth skiing and local Nordic trail systems.

HASTA Ski Swap

Hayward Area Ski Trail Association (HASTA) invites one and all to come to our early season SKI SWAP. Buy and sell your silent sports equipment, clothing, bikes, and more.

When: Saturday, November 13, 2004
Where: Basement of the Hayward Veterans Community Center, located at 10534 Main Street, in Hayward, Wisconsin.
Times: Drop-off will start at 8:00 and go until 9:00 am, ONLY. Shopping will start at 9:01 and continue until 11:00. Pick-up of all unsold gear and/or cash at 11:01 until 11:30. Items left after 11:31 will be donated.

To save time, label all your equipment with your name and the price you want to sell your gear for. (Duck tape works fine!) Also, bring along a list of your items, with your price. HASTA charges a 15% fee from the price you set. All proceeds are directly re-circulated to support local cross county ski trails. HASTA volunteers will be available to help set prices and select ski sizes.

The Great Gear & Ski Swap is an important part of the Winterer�s Gathering & Arctic Film Festival weekend. Co-hosted with the North Superior Ski & Run Club, the swap features cross-country ski equipment, tents, sleeping bags, sleeping pads, knit sweaters, stoves, etc. � last year 100+ items were sold! How does it work? It�s simple: bring in your old gear or skies and pick up a new pair during the Great Gear & Ski Swap. The Great Gear & Ski Swap is �half swap and part fundraiser.� For each item you sell you define the percentage that goes to you and percentage that goes to the two partner nonprofits.

St. Croix Valley Ski Swap

The St. Croix Valley MYSL at O'Brien State Park is having a ski swap Sunday December 12, 2004 from 1-3. We highly encourage people with youth equipment to bring it in. In addition that day, we have our annual signup, bonfire and ski/hike at the same time. Junior coaches will lead hikes. Seasonal dues for kids 3-13 are $25 per year including s'mores, oranges, and juice after skiing.
