Tri-Loppet Coverage

A fantastic day for the annual Tri-Loppet event, racing from the chain of lakes all the way up and around the trails of Theodore Wirth, finishing at the brand-new Trailhead building. With a shortened lake course, the race was tighter than usual with close racing throughout the paddling, trail running and mountain biking legs. Matt Liebsch posted the top time on the day, completing the triathlon in 1:23:03. Josie Nelson was the fastest female, clocking in at 1:33:38. Topping the relay teams was the mixed team 'The Victors'.
