• Jan 22 MYSL Team Sprints & Family Night (Minneapolis, MN)  

  • NewJan 20 update:
    We are back Wednesday Night with milder weather and classic technique Team Sprints at Wirth Park. Come out and join the fun! 5:45p registration inside the Trailhead. Racing starts at 6:30pm.

• Jan 25 Noquemanon Ski Marathon (Ishpeming, MI)

  • Jan 16 update:
    Citing poor snow conditions, organizers have cancelled the Noquemanon for the safety of the participants. Registrations will be deferred to next year. Read their full press release.

• Jan 25 Minneapolis JNQ (Minneapolis, MN)  

  • NewJan 20 update:
    The Loppet's Mayor's Challenge will have a citizen 10k skate event on Sunday at 11:45am. Deadline to register is 10pm Thursday, Jan 23rd, but please register soon, as entries are limited to 100 racers. This event will use the same 3 x 3.3km loop format as the junior races earlier in the morning. Bib pickup is on Sunday at the Trailhead and warmup options will be emailed after registration closes. Note that Junior and Youth registration closes on Tuesday night Jan 21st. Note: We're in need of 10 more volunteers to help in the Stadium start/finish area Saturday and Sunday.

• Jan 25 Ironbull Ring of Snow Challenge (Wausau, WI)

  • Jan 20 update:
    Organizers have cancelled the event due to poor snow conditions.

• Jan 26 Iola Norseman Challenge (Iola, WI)  

  • Jan 15 update:
    We don't have enough snow to host the Norseman Challenge on Sunday January 26th, but we are going to try and have the event on Sunday February 16 if the weather permits us.

• Feb 1 Mt. Ashwabay Summit Ski Race (Bayfield, WI)  

  • Jan 6 update:
    We currently have decent snow on the entire course, and with cold temps in the 10 day forecast we imagine that we will be able to hold the full race as planned. We've got some man made snow to supplement the start/finish and transition areas. Will update if anything changes. A few more inches of snow would be nice, but it's been a great season so far!

• Feb 1 Wolf Tracks Rendezvous (Minocqua, WI)  

  • Jan 17 update:
    Organizers provided an update on the race, saying they will most likely need run a lap course using their best conditions, but they are still planning to host an event. Read their full update.

• Feb 15 Pincushion Mountain Winter Festival (Grand Marais, MN)  

  • Dec 9 update:
    Organizers have decided to shift the Winter Festival event from Saturday to Sunday to better accommodate the local youth skiers.
