Bearskin lodge has some exciting ski opportunities left this winter, including the return of our virtual race series, a March ski clinic run by members of Team Birkie, and openings in our new ski in cabin.
Bearskin Nordic Series: The Bearskin Nordic Series is in it's second month. With great snow conditions and fairly mild temperatures, we've had some great racing. As always, the winner of each month's courses receives a prize, as well as the overall winners of the series. Not sure you have what it takes to ski to victory? Everyone who competes will also be entered in an end of the season raffle for even more great prizes, with one entry per course completed. Check out the series website for more information.
March Clinic: For those looking to improve their skiing while enjoying beautiful March ski conditions in the Northwoods, Bearskin will be hosting a free clinic March 4th with members of Team Birkie. Classic instruction will be offered in the morning, and a skate session in the afternoon. The clinic is free and accessible to all ability levels.
Ski-in Cabins: Bearskin is also excited about our newest lodging opportunity. This winter we are renting the first of three ski-in remote cabins. Located on our Ox-Cart ski trail and accessible by ski or snowshoe, this small wood-heated cabin is the perfect adventure for one to two people.
