Maplelag is a destination cross-country ski resort located just 20 miles from Detroit Lakes in NW Minnesota. Several unique cabins, including a "switch yard" with two converted sleeping cabooses, stand within the maple-basswood climax forest next to Little Sugarbush Lake.

Expertly groomed, private trails extend for 64km through the woods surrounding Maplelag, offering options for all abilities, including intimate singletrack and many double tracked classic trails.
