Elm Creek Series Results

Conditions: Temperature: -10F, windchill -30F. Course: Full 5km Valley Trail loop, Thicket Trail, and Northern Light Trail are used for skate and classic races. Trails were hard packed, grinding, slow course due to extremely cold condition. Race distance: 1 lap of 5km for skate and classic, mass start.

One skier showed up and wanted to race the cold condition tonight. So, the ECTT race started Bib #1. The skier is the frequent racer of this season, Daniel Ray, who finished with a big grin on his face. The race director, Melinda Silbernick, wrapped him with his warm jacket and got him in the Chalet before the EC’s hilltop wind froze his smiling face.

Next week and future weeks' races will continue the same time -- race registration time at 6:30pm-6:55pm, and race starts at 7pm for freestyle, and classic race starts at 7:30pm.
